D.O.A. Drag Sleds: Shipping Policy

At D.O.A. Drag Sleds, we know you need your gear before the next race weekend. We work hard to get your high-performance parts and apparel out of the shop and into your hands as fast as possible.

1. Order Processing Times

  • Apparel & In-Stock Parts: Orders for branded clothing and shelf-ready parts typically ship within 1–3 business days.

  • Custom Fabrications: Build times vary. Please refer to your specific build sheet for estimated completion and ship dates.

  • Race Season Volume: During peak racing season (October–March), processing times may be slightly extended. We appreciate your patience while we ensure every weld is perfect.

2. Shipping Methods & Rates

We offer tiered shipping based on the size and weight of your order:

  • Shipping Costs: Calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.

  • Freight Shipping: For oversized items (complete sleds or chassis), we will contact you with a custom freight quote and coordination details.

3. Freight & Heavy Item Delivery

For engines, chassis, or complete sleds:

  • Terminal Pickup vs. Residential: Shipping to a commercial address with a loading dock or forklift is significantly cheaper. Residential delivery with a liftgate service will incur additional fees.

  • Inspection Required: You must inspect all freight shipments before signing the Bill of Lading. If the crate is damaged, note it clearly on the driver's paperwork or refuse the shipment. Once you sign, the carrier is released from liability.

4. International Shipping

We ship to racers worldwide (Canada, Scandinavia, etc.).

  • Duties & Taxes: International customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, and brokerage fees. D.O.A. Drag Sleds does not calculate or collect these at checkout.

  • Compliance: Ensure that the parts you order are legal for import into your country.

5. Tracking & Delivery

  • Once your order leaves the shop, you will receive an email with a tracking number.

  • Lost/Stolen Packages: D.O.A. Drag Sleds is not responsible for packages marked "Delivered" by the carrier that are subsequently lost or stolen. We recommend shipping to a secure location or a business address.

6. Damage in Transit

If your order arrives damaged (non-freight):

  1. Take photos of the packaging and the damaged product immediately.

  2. Email shipping@doadragsleds.com within 48 hours of delivery.

  3. Keep all original packaging—the carrier will need it to process the claim.
